Welcome to Fortunate Match. By accessing or using our event matchmaking platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Fortunate Match is a platform that helps event attendees discover meaningful connections through intent-based matchmaking. The Service includes:

  • Event registration and participation
  • Match suggestions based on what you want and offer
  • Meeting tracking and voice memo notes
  • Contact saving and data export
  • Integration with third-party services (e.g., Google, LinkedIn) for authentication and profile data

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission

The Service may integrate with third-party services (Google, LinkedIn, etc.). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Event data is automatically deleted after the retention period. You may export your data and request account deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. MATCH SUGGESTIONS ARE RECOMMENDATIONS ONLY; WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY OR OUTCOME OF ANY INTRODUCTION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, IF ANY.
